Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing all maintenance operations in our foundry, ensuring all machinery and equipment are in top-notch condition.
- Developing, implementing, and managing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Managing facility operations, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, efficient, and well-maintained.
- Leading and overseeing various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Developing and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance efforts.
- Leading a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Using your welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming expertise to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues.
- Driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring all operations are compliant with OSHA standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Managing hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management.
- Strong budgeting skills and experience managing budgets.
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming.
- Experience in process improvement, with a track record of driving efficiency and productivity enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- A solid understanding of OSHA compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
