What You’ll Do
- Be the friendly voice borrowers reach after closing — answering calls and getting them answers.
- Handle core loan servicing: loan boarding, payoff processing, and disbursing taxes and insurance.
- Connect with borrowers about first payments and process incoming payments accurately.
- Upload closed loan files to investors for review.
- Review agency loans and clear edits before purchase.
- Prepare data transfers tied to loan purchases.
- Process wires and import purchase advice information for purchased loans.
- Own the accounting and reconciliation of purchased loans to keep everything airtight.
- Board, report on, and audit loans managed with our subservicer.
- Loan servicing experience (preferred) — or a solid accounting background.
- A customer-first mindset and genuine comfort talking with customers and investors by phone.
- Sharp attention to detail and the discipline to hit deadlines consistently.
- The ability to fly solo and play well on a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and friends).
