Job Details
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead day-to-day production activities across multiple machines or work cells to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
Promote a strong safety-first culture by reinforcing PPE usage, 5S, and safe work practices
Ensure products meet quality standards, work instructions, process control plans, and customer requirements
Coordinate workflow, shift priorities as needed, and reduce downtime to achieve production goals
Train, coach, and support operators to build consistency, accountability, and team performance
Troubleshoot routine equipment or process issues and partner with Maintenance when needed
Track and report production metrics including labor, scrap, and downtime
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Materials teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with material flow and inventory coordination to keep production running efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 years of lead, supervisor, or senior operator experience in a manufacturing environment
3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience (CNC machining experience is strongly preferred)
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use standard measuring tools
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
