We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Permanent Junior Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking the progress of construction projects. The Junior Scheduler will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and construction crews to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Junior Scheduler, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, including all phases of project life cycle, from conception to design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
2. Utilizing Primavera P6 to create project schedules, track changes, and update progress.
3. Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to collect project status updates and adjust schedules accordingly.
4. Identifying potential schedule risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
5. Participating in project meetings and providing schedule updates to project teams and stakeholders.
6. Assisting in the preparation of project reports, including progress reports, schedule updates, and variance analyses.
7. Coordinating with LAUSD, K-12, Public Works, and Commercial Construction projects.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Junior Scheduler position, the candidate must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or project control in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must.
3. Experience with K-12, LAUSD, Public Works, and Commercial Construction projects is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
