We are a dynamic Creditor’s Rights / Foreclosure law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will:
1. Represent creditors in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, ensuring their rights are protected and upheld.
2. Manage all phases of the foreclosure process including initial client intake, drafting and filing of pleadings, attendance at court hearings, and the execution of foreclosure sales.
3. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex legal issues concerning creditors' rights and foreclosure laws.
4. Prepare and review documents such as demand letters, motions, and affidavits.
5. Collaborate with clients and other team members to develop strategies for case progression and resolution.
6. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters.
7. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to foreclosure and creditors' rights.
8. Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in law with creditors' rights and foreclosure law exposure.
4. Strong academic credentials and law firm experience are preferred.
5. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
6. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
8. Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to meet deadlines.
