Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring all work is carried out in a safe, efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes and apply this knowledge to your work.
- Manage electrical projects, coordinating resources and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
- Inspect electrical equipment and systems for safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians, promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Use critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
- Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical field, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in inspecting electrical equipment and systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a history of leading successful teams.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in various conditions (heights, outdoors, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
