Job Details
Hiring for 2 shifts:
6:00am - 6:00pm
6:00pm - 6:00am
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (480V, 240V, 120V)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley)
- Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, augers, mixers, pumps, and drive systems
- Perform maintenance on fillers, cappers, cookers, coolers, and processing equipment
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks, including torch cutting and plasma cutting
- Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, boilers, and water softeners
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and plant safety procedures
- Perform lubrication, inspections, and general maintenance tasks
- Support plant operations by minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed
Qualifications - Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in food manufacturing or processing environment (required)
- Strong background in electrical systems (AC/DC, 480V required)
- Proven experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley required)
- Welding certification or strong welding experience (required)
- Experience with mechanical systems, fabrication, and pipefitting
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to work all shifts and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
