What You'll Do:
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Develop financial models to forecast revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
- Analyze monthly financial performance and explain budget variances.
- Evaluate project profitability, gross margins, and operational performance.
- Prepare executive-level financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
- Assist with backlog, pipeline, and revenue forecasting.
- Perform scenario analysis and business case modeling for strategic initiatives.
- Partner with operations, accounting, and executive leadership to provide financial insights that improve business performance.
- Help automate reporting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
- Construction, engineering, contractor, or project-based industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and job costing.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience building financial models and analyzing large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Multi-entity construction organization
- ERP systems (NetSuite, Vista, Sage, CMiC, Foundation, etc.)
- Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms
- WIP Reporting
- Percentage of Completion Accounting
- Project Financial Analysis
- KPI Dashboard Development
