Are you passionate about construction and have a knack for accurately estimating fencing projects? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Fencing Estimator for multiple roles within our dynamic construction company. This position requires a professional who can efficiently handle commercial and residential fencing projects, and security fencing. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bids, procuring materials, and conducting take offs. You will be utilizing software tools like Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore, so proficiency in these is a must. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for fencing projects, including materials, labor, and equipment needed for the project.
2. Develop competitive bids for commercial, residential, and security fencing projects.
3. Procure necessary materials for projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
4. Conduct take offs to determine project needs and costs accurately.
5. Use software tools like Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore to organize and present data effectively.
6. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new materials to ensure the company remains competitive.
8. Assist in the resolution of project-related issues that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a fencing estimator or comparable building industry experience.
2. Proficiency in commercial and residential fencing, as well as security fencing.
3. Expertise in preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive bids.
4. Strong experience in procurement and materials selection.
5. Proficiency in conducting take offs.
6. Excellent skills in Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore software.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Knowledge of current industry trends and pricing.
