The ideal candidate will have a robust background in estate planning, probate, trusts, and wills, with a passion for providing exceptional legal advice and service to our clients. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in estate planning, probate, trusts, and wills, with a passion for providing exceptional legal advice and service to our clients. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on estate planning, trusts, and probate matters to clients, ensuring their interests and assets are protected.
- Draft, review, and amend a variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings and manage all aspects of the probate process, from filing petitions to distributing assets.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay updated on the latest laws and regulations related to estate planning and probate.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a coordinated approach to client service.
- Provide legal guidance on complex estate planning strategies, including tax planning and asset protection.
- Facilitate estate planning seminars and workshops for clients and potential clients.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in estate planning, probate, trusts, and wills.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of providing top-notch client service.
- Ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Certified in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization (preferred).
