Our client is hiring Electricians in the dynamic Tech Services industry. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for problem-solving, enjoy working with cutting-edge technology, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Permanent Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Perform general electrical maintenance on forklifts and other machinery.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Work within the SAP system for work order management, time entry, and material requisition.
• Collaborate with the team to identify machinery problems and come up with efficient solutions.
• Train and mentor apprentices to foster the next generation of electricians.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
• Demonstrated experience in the Tech Services industry.
• Experience with forklift operations and maintenance.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.).
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and handling of electrical controls.
• Journeyman certification is a must.
