We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) to join our clients dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Educational projects to play a crucial role in my clients engineering projects. You will be working on a variety of projects, particularly in the education sector, and your expertise in Single Line Diagrams, Low Voltage Design, and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) will be invaluable. This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with previous experience in school-related projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Creating single line diagrams for electrical distribution systems.
3. Ensuring all designs and installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement design requirements.
5. Working on a variety of projects, with a specific focus on the education sector.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
7. Conducting site inspections and analyses to ensure adherence to project specifications.
8. Preparing and presenting technical reports to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in low voltage engineering.
4. In-depth knowledge of NEC and ability to ensure all designs and installations comply with these regulations.
5. Proven experience with single line diagrams and low voltage design.
6. Previous experience in school-related projects is highly desirable.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Proficiency in using design software and tools.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
