Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential construction projects, including power distribution, low voltage, and lighting systems.
2. Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
3. Use state-of-the-art software tools, including Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam, for electrical system design and circuit analysis.
4. Review and stamp/seal electrical engineering documents, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and specifications.
5. Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the electrical components of construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure electrical safety and code compliance.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and integrate them into operations and activities.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in the construction industry, specifically in commercial and residential projects.
4. Proficient in electrical systems design, circuit analysis, power systems, and electrical safety management.
5. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
6. Proficiency in using software tools such as Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam.
7. Exceptional skills in reading and interpreting blueprints.
8. Demonstrated experience in stamping/sealing electrical engineering documents.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
