Job Details
- Design, program, and integrate PLC-based systems into prototypes and production equipment.
- Assist in transitioning PLC designs to embedded platforms for improved performance.
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB designs, and BOMs.
- Specify and validate motors, sensors, VFDs, and other controls for new and existing products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety codes (ETL, CE).
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, provide remote and onsite technical support, and handle service calls.
- Document manufacturing processes, testing procedures, installation guides, and user manuals.
- Lead or support R&D initiatives to launch innovative new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- 5 years in electrical design, controls, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (ladder logic).
- Hands-on experience with VFDs, motor control systems, and power distribution.
- Strong skills in reading and creating schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience / Not Required:
- SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools.
- Altium Designer, C programming.
- Industrial automation or material handling equipment.
- Experience in distribution center or manufacturing environments.
