We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Culinary Assurance & Implementation Chef to join our Accounting Finance team. This is an exciting role that combines culinary expertise with regulatory compliance and assurance in food safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all culinary operations adhere to food safety standards, food handling requirements, and labeling regulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to use your culinary skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment, where you can make a significant impact on our business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to ensure compliance with food safety standards, food handling requirements, and labeling regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Finance team to ensure accurate costing and pricing of food items.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff on food safety standards, food handling requirements, and labeling regulations.
  • Collaborate with the FSQA team to ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA CFR 820, and other relevant regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in food science and culinary techniques.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure that new food products are safe, compliant, and of the highest quality.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the culinary industry.
  • A degree in Food Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling requirements, and labeling regulations.
  • Experience with HACCP, FDA CFR 820, and FSQA.
  • Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for food.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
