Crisis Urgent Care Therapist to join our team in Timonium, MD. As an Urgent Care Therapist, you will make an unprecedented impact on your community by providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for clients in the Urgent Care Center. This position is currently operating in a remote capacity, and may move to a hybrid model in the future.
We are seeking a candidate who is able to work Friday evenings and weekend shifts.
What You’ll Do:
Perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, and implementation.
Design and implement treatment plans.
Effectively communicate clients’ needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
Serve as a liaison for collaboration with families, friends, and community partners.
Educate individuals about community resources related to mental health and substance abuse.
