Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Estimator to join our vibrant team. This role is integral to our construction operations, requiring a seasoned professional with a strong background in estimating, construction cost analysis, and project management. This is a permanent position and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of design-build projects, from inception to completion. You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment that rewards creativity, hard work, and innovation.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Estimator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Reviewing and interpreting two-dimensional drawings to understand project requirements.
2. Utilizing BlueBeam and other industry-standard tools to prepare detailed cost estimates.
3. Analyzing labor costs, the cost of equipment, and other construction-related expenses to develop accurate and comprehensive construction cost estimates.
4. Preparing and submitting RFQs, tracking bids, and working closely with project managers to ensure project goals are met.
5. Developing written proposals and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
6. Negotiating contracts and cost estimates to ensure the best outcome for the company.
7. Applying your knowledge of building construction to create realistic project timelines and budgets.
8. Collaborating with the team to ensure design-build projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Estimator role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in a senior role.
2. Proficiency in BlueBeam or equivalent software.
3. Demonstrated experience with base building construction projects.
4. Proven ability to interpret two-dimensional drawings.
5. Experience in preparing RFQs, tracking bids, and working with project managers.
6. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful cost estimation.
7. In-depth knowledge of building construction, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
8. Experience in developing written proposals and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
11. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
