Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Implementing and managing the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Ensuring company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations.
• Utilizing ERP packages such as Workday for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Leading the financial team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Conducting regular financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Managing and improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as a CPA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and other financial regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Workday or other ERP packages.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing financial teams.
• Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to make sound financial decisions that align with the company's long-term goals.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong problem-solving skills.
