We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our thriving construction team. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and ensure the successful completion of various commercial construction projects. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on the construction site, including the supervision of all field and subcontractor personnel. Responsibilities:
- Oversee, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on various commercial projects, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, healthcare facilities, and other commercial buildings.
- Implement and maintain strict safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all staff and subcontractors.
- Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Resolve any work-related issues or disputes that may arise, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time by effectively managing time and resources.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in ground-up commercial construction, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, and healthcare construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in risk and safety management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a knack for making effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans.
- Proficient in using construction management software.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
