Job Details
- Drive B2B sales by identifying new opportunities with general contractors, facility managers, building owners, and industrial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to grow repeat and long-term business.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to understand needs and offer solutions.
- Build a strong pipeline by networking, cold outreach, and attending industry events.
- Provide clear, professional communication before, during, and after the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Estimate your own work—taking projects from initial lead through final pricing.
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop competitive proposals.
- Identify value-engineering options and cost-saving alternatives for clients.
- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure pricing accuracy.
- Prepare bid packages, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal reviews.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, or construction estimating.
- Proven success in B2B sales or client-facing roles.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, and general Office tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple bids and clients.
