Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with clients to understand their HVAC requirements and provide expert advice and solutions.
- Prepare and read mechanical layouts and other blueprints as required.
- Utilize your skills in pipe fitting and on-site installation during new facility setup.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair work on Chillers and other HVAC components.
- Keep records of all work performed and report any issues or potential problems to management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local and national HVAC codes and regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
- Proven experience with pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, new facility setup, on-site installation, and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including Chillers.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical layouts and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical fitness, as the job requires frequent lifting and carrying of heavy equipment.
- Certification or associate degree in HVAC from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and development activities.
