A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support advanced machining operations in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of CNC equipment while producing high-quality components to exact customer specifications.
The ideal candidate has strong machining fundamentals, blueprint reading skills, inspection experience, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC equipment including 3, 4, and 5-axis mills, vertical turning lathes (VTLs), horizontal lathes, creep feed grinders, and 5-axis grinders
Upload, download, and edit CNC programs as needed
Interpret process sheets, blueprints, travelers, and mechanical drawings
Produce quality parts within required tolerances and production targets
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools
Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and CMM equipment
Review inspection reports and adjust machine offsets when required
Troubleshoot machining issues and replace or maintain tooling as needed
Complete production documentation, control charts, and ERP labor reporting
Maintain safe work practices and daily housekeeping standards
Collaborate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
CNC machining certificate or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Okuma controls preferred
Knowledge of G-code and M-code preferred
Strong shop math skills including geometry and trigonometry
Previous manufacturing experience required; aerospace experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Must be eligible to work in compliance with ITAR requirements
