We are seeking a passionate and experienced PC-DMIS CMM Programmer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CMM Programming and the ability to collaborate effectively with our production team to ensure the highest quality of our products.
Responsibilities
As a PC-DMIS CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for the following
- Developing and maintaining CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to support inspection and manufacturing processes.
- Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data, and GD&T to create accurate and efficient CMM programs.
- Performing first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborating closely with the manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve potential issues in product quality or production efficiency.
- Training and guiding operators and inspectors on the use of CMM equipment and software.
- Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste and inputting data into quality database.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our processes and products.
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need the following
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Programmer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CMM Programming and in using PC-DMIS software is a must.
- Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD data.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mind and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology, would be an advantage.
