We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Centerless Grind Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain centerless grinding machines to meet production deadlines.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve the correct dimensions of parts.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and achieve production goals.
- Keep accurate records of machine operations, including quantities and types of parts produced.
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience operating a centerless grinder in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
