Skills & Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Experience hauling heavy equipment (lowboy/flatbed experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and load securement
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, field-based construction or demolition environment
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around heavy equipment
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset
- Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites
- Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles, including lowboys, flatbeds, and dump trucks
- Load and secure equipment properly, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and reports
- Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Assist with basic labor, equipment staging, and site support when needed
- Travel to various job sites, sometimes on short notice, depending on project needs
