- Sacramento
- Oakland
- Los Angeles/Beverly Glenn

- Competitive Base Salary: Up to $225K (DOE)
- Bonus Structure: Quarterly and Annual Bonuses (Up to $50K Potential)

- Hybrid-Remote Schedule: 3 Days In-Office, 2 Remote
- Advise clients on a broad range of legal issues related to charter schools
- Review charter petitions
- Counsel clients on charter oversight and compliance matters
- Handle renewal and revocation issues
- Advise governing boards on legal and operational matters
- Work directly with senior leadership on charter-related legal issues
- Conduct legal research, draft written analyses, and provide strategic guidance on charter school matters
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California
- Minimum 3 years of experience, with a focus on charter school law
- Experience or strong background in petition review, charter oversight and compliance, renewal, revocation, and advising governing boards
- Strong background in California education law and counseling public education clients
- Proven ability or experience with board advising, compliance analysis, and charter-related operational issues
