We are in search of an Accountant to join our high-performing team in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including financial analysis, forecasting, tax preparation, and more. We are in search of an Accountant to join our high-performing team in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including financial analysis, forecasting, tax preparation, and more. Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include
- Managing all aspects of accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
- Coordinating the preparation of budget and financial forecasts, and reporting variances.
- Preparing and submitting timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Participating in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
The ideal candidate for the Accountant position will have the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, financial accounting, tax accounting, cost accounting, and general ledger management.
- Experience in tax preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and agricultural accounting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and accounting software systems.
