Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Processing all Accounts Payable including approval, entry and posting. Completing all related reporting.
- Processing all Accounts Receivable including check deposit, billing, and journal entries.
- Performing account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of all financial data.
- Preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial systems and processes.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in accounting/ finance.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
