We are seeking an Automation Technician I/II to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic automation systems across customer sites. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, working directly with customers to ensure equipment is operating efficiently while also building long-term relationships.
This role is a mix of hands-on field work and light programming, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, service, and customer training. The position offers autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of a specialized automation segment within the business.

We are seeking an Automation Technician I/II to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic automation systems across customer sites. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, working directly with customers to ensure equipment is operating efficiently while also building long-term relationships.
This role is a mix of hands-on field work and light programming, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, service, and customer training. The position offers autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of a specialized automation segment within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair automation and robotic systems
- Perform basic to intermediate programming, software updates, and system modifications
- Support preventative maintenance programs and ongoing service needs
- Train customers on equipment usage and best practices
- Communicate clearly with customers on repairs, timelines, and recommendations
- Recommend process improvements to enhance system performance
- Collaborate with internal teams and support broader automation initiatives
- Maintain service documentation, parts ordering, and reporting
- 2 years of experience in automation, electronics, robotics, or related field (open to entry-level with strong technical foundation)
- Exposure to robotic systems, manufacturing environments, or industrial equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing mindset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in MN and WI
