Job Description
The Senior Technical HR Analyst is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the Workday HCM system and providing technology support for the HR and Payroll Organization. This role serves as the HR Technology liaison between both technical and functional areas of the HR (e.g., HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, etc.) and Payroll business, and other internal and external clients to ensure effective definition of Total Systems Solutions and delivery of Workday HR Technology applications and integrations across the different Domains or Channel Technology Ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owns all aspects of Workday HCM system including configuration, data integrity, testing of system changes, system upgrades, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
- Drives innovation and optimization by delivering Workday automation strategies that increase the value to stakeholders and reduce redundant processes.
- Oversees Workday releases and enhancements to include prioritization, functional design, documentation, testing, training, implementation, and support model design.
- Oversees Workday system-related governance controls and other related compliance processes. Ensures the proper security administration, configuration, and system processes are in place and appropriately maintained and compliant with internal and external audit standards.
- Consults with functional leaders and SMEs in HR and Payroll to design, develop, and implement Workday technology solutions that increase operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and positively impact customer experience for HR, candidates, employees, managers, and business leaders.
- Provides technical support for Workday, e.g., researching and resolving problems or issues with business processes; recommends alternate solutions. Troubleshoots any system issues and ensures appropriate parties are involved to resolve the issue.
- Completes special projects and other duties as assigned independently.
