About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehousing and inventory systems, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout and space utilization, including shelving, racking, and binning systems.
- Manage and execute Warehousing Standards and Procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery of goods.
- Hire, train and supervise personnel, including a logistics associate and warehouse personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, supply chain management, logistics or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Warehouse/Inventory Management or related field.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
