About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced pharmacy leader to serve as our Interim Pharmacy Director for a 14-week contract. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in hospital pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize medication management and improve efficiency.
- Ensure proper inventory control and medication safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 2 years of pharmacy management experience required.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
- Experience with Cerner required.
