Responsibilities:
- Implementing and monitoring programs for safe and efficient quality nursing care
- Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards
- Monitoring patient outcomes and quality of nursing care
- Overseeing team performance; identifying staff training and development needs
- Advising medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing service matters
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- 2 years of healthcare leadership experience
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
- RN license in good standing in the state of employment
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
