Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist - II to join our educational team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student well-being and possess a broad understanding of school psychology practices.

- Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
- Must hold CO School Psychologist license
- In-person candidates only!
- Working with multiple schools district wide
- K-12th grade age

Day 5x7.5-Hour (07:00 - 14:30)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, to identify students' needs and strengths.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social-emotional development, behavioral management, and crisis intervention.
  • Design and oversee safety plans and behavioral health interventions tailored to students with disabilities or developmental challenges.
  • Engage in early intervention strategies to support students at risk or experiencing difficulties.
  • Manage casework related to student behavior management, conflict resolution, and social work interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychotherapy, and crisis management.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
  • Offer training and consultation to teachers and staff on topics such as social skills development, conflict management, and behavioral health best practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field; licensure or certification as a school psychologist is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children within educational settings, including special education environments.
  • Strong knowledge of child & family counseling techniques, crisis intervention methods, and behavioral health strategies.
  • Proficiency in psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, and case management procedures.
  • Familiarity with IEP development processes, medical terminology related to patient care, and medical documentation standards.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, early intervention programs, and crisis management protocols.
