\n- Manage day-to-day financial systems operations, including billing support workflows and resolution of complex system inquiries.
- Lead incident triage processes, identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resolution of financial system issues with engineering teams.
- Perform deep root cause analysis of billing discrepancies and execute or coordinate data corrections when required.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile financial data across Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Support month-end close activities and ensure accuracy of key financial reporting and reconciliation metrics.
- Design, document, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance scalability and automation of financial processes.
- Lead operational and strategic initiatives, including billing system rollouts and implementation of contractual billing structures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial system reliability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Operations Analyst in finance, accounting, or billing environments.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including credit memos, adjustments, and ledger reconciliation.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation across financial systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience creating detailed SOPs and translating business rules into structured system requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex financial discrepancies.
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments with finance, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial concepts into technical and operational insights.
- Nice to have: experience with subscription billing tools such as Zuora or payment platforms like Adyen.
- Nice to have: exposure to global financial systems, reporting layers, or AI-assisted analytical workflows.
