Remote General Counsel Associate

In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice within the Governance and Transactions Practice Group, significantly impacting corporate governance and transactional endeavors. • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and broader legal teams.
• Execute legal projects with moderate independence under senior oversight.
• Support and mentor junior team members and legal staff.
• Analyze legal and regulatory risks, offering practical solutions.
• Deliver impactful legal advice while safeguarding enterprise interests.
• Contribute to strategic imperatives as guided by senior leadership.
• Manage and assess outside legal counsel performance.
• Assist in the management of the legal budget and expenditures.
• Ensure adherence to the enterprise Code of Conduct.

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• 3-6 years of experience in corporate/transactional law.
• Familiarity with health law preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze and negotiate legal documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal risk assessment and mitigation.
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments.
