Accountabilities
- Provide strategic and academic leadership, implementing student-centered approaches that enhance learning outcomes and engagement.
- Lead culture-building initiatives to strengthen communication, trust, and morale among a remote workforce.
- Serve as the primary representative to families, community partners, and state officials, fostering positive relationships and advocacy.
- Oversee financial and operational management, including a multi-million-dollar budget, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and mentor leadership teams, promote fair HR practices, and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative organizational culture.
- Maintain transparent and proactive communication with the Board of Trustees, supporting governance and strategic planning processes.
- Senior leadership experience in education, public sector, or mission-driven organizations.
- Proven ability to lead through change and stabilize organizational culture.
- Strong financial management skills and data-informed decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, access, and inclusive educational practices.
- Preferred: experience in virtual or cyber-based education, K–12 educational leadership certification, or background as an educator/administrator.
