We are hiring immediately for Experienced Reach Truck Operators. This is a full-time permanent position. We are looking for key players in our logistics process, you will operate a reach truck to safely and accurately put away inventory, support order picking, and facilitate shipping and receiving activities. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment committed to excellence.
Duties
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently
- Execute put-away tasks with reach truck by accurately placing inventory in designated storage locations using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with order picking activities, including and order fulfillment tasks to meet shipping deadlines when needed.
- Support receiving operation by verifying inbound shipments, inspecting cases of ramen noodles for damages, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks as needed while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries when needed
- Manage materials handling processes involving, forklift driving to optimize warehouse flow.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular updates in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Perform routine inspections of reach trucks report maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols including OSHA regulations; participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate efficient put-away strategies and optimize space utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, in a warehouse distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order picking with reach truck, shipping & receiving, load & unload procedures as needed
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control software.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, cases of ramen noodles, when needed while maintaining safety protocols.
- Valid certification for forklift operation certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; able to follow detailed instructions accurately
$18.00 PER HOUR
MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-5PMS OR UNTIL JOB COMPLETED SOME SATURDAYS WHEN NEEDED
***MUST BE AVAILBLE FOR OVERTIME. PAID WEEKLY DIRECT DEPOSIT***
