Position Overview
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales and market share within an assigned territory by managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and consistently executing against clear performance goals.
This position requires initiative, discipline, and accountability. Success comes from planning your work, owning your results, and following through — not from daily oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage an assigned sales territory with minimal supervision
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to drive revenue, margin, and growth
- Schedule and conduct regular customer visits and sales calls independently
- Identify opportunities to expand product mix, programs, and solutions with customers
- Track activity, pipeline, and results accurately in CRM systems
- Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities clearly to leadership
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
- Represent the company professionally and consistently in the field

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory management

- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience:
- Automotive aftermarket, distribution, or B2B sales experience
- Experience managing a geographically defined territory
