About the Role - We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the designing and building of highly scalable, cloud-native applications. This is a hands-on technical position where you'll contribute to the product from vision to execution, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
- Architecture & Development: Design and build services and distributed systems using cloud-native architectures aligned to Domain Driven Design principles. Conduct data modeling and schema design (normalization, ER diagrams, OLAP vs. OLTP). Define data contracts and API designs (OpenAPI, Protobuf, AsyncAPI).
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical leader within your team, guiding architectural decisions and mentoring junior developers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with the Product team and customers to understand requirements and implement them as working software.
- Agile & CI/CD: As a team member you will actively participate in the Agile software development lifecycle. You will contribute to test automation, define and develop infrastructure-as-code, and ensure robust, automated builds and deployments at an enterprise scale.

- A Pragmatic Problem-Solver: You understand and apply Agile principles in a pragmatic way and have a track record of learning and implementing new software development practices, tools, and languages.
Skills & Experience We Value:
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in C#.
- Relational databases and SQL.
- NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Redis).
- Cloud architecture and development (Azure preferred).
- Infrastructure-as-code tools and modern source control and build systems such as Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions, respectively.
- .NET 8 or above, .NET Framework 4.8, WCF, and Entity Framework 6.
- Implementing distributed systems incorporating Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud infrastructure.
- Event streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs).
- Distributed messaging patterns (e.g. Saga, Outbox, CQRS, and Event Sourcing).
- Observability tooling (e.g., Datadog, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry).
Preferred Experience:
- Angular 2 .
- Azure messaging stack (e.g. Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Event Grid).
- Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling).
