Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing automation systems and equipment.
- Participate in automation equipment design, development, installation, and launch activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control-related issues.
- Support production operations by maintaining CNC equipment, conveyors, robotics, and automated systems.
- Perform control system modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Diagnose equipment failures using structured troubleshooting techniques.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Research and identify replacement parts and equipment components.
- Maintain maintenance records and communicate findings to production and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in:
- Automated Manufacturing
- Electronics
- Computer Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Tool Engineering Technology
- Related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing process controls or industrial automation.
- Working knowledge of industrial hardware and operating computer systems.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Allen Bradley controls and PLC systems.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Experience supporting CNC equipment and machine automation.
- Experience working with industrial robotics.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
