Forklift Operator - Booneville
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in Booneville. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
Shift Patterns
- LTL Shift: 7am-3pm
- Up to 2 hours of overtime daily, if needed
- Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturday
Pay Rates
- 14.66 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator
- Previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Desirable Requirements for Forklift Operator
- 3 years of continuous experience operating material handling equipment in high-volume warehouse environments
- Experience working in high-bay or high-density storage facilities
Role for Forklift Operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move products through the facility
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes
- Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
- Control levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes
