Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician - Pierceton
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician to work with Aludyne in Pierceton. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of die casting and trim die operations, ensuring all tooling meets high quality standards.
Shift Patterns
- Monday through Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm
Pay Rates
- 28.00 - 32.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician
- Experience repairing or maintaining die casting dies, trim dies, or similar tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, cooling diagrams, and work instructions.
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as tape measures (to 1/32”), micrometers, and calipers.
- Experience operating shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, and saws.
- Comfortable working in high-heat environments (300–600°F) while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Experience replacing ejector pins, punch pins, or similar components.
- Any experience with welding, forklifts, or overhead cranes is a plus.

- Perform comprehensive repair and preventative maintenance on die cast and trim dies.
- Inspect, clean, and polish die cavities and surfaces to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain water lines and replace damaged components to uphold quality standards.
- Prepare dies for shipment and maintain backup tooling to ensure production continuity.
