The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding machines and related equipment to produce high-quality molded products. This role requires someone with strong technical experience who can quickly adapt to production processes and help maintain efficiency, quality standards, and production schedules.

Pay/ Hours
· $45 – 50 per hour depending on experience
· Day shift, 40 hours a week. May be 5 x 8s or 4 x 10s
Injection Molding Technician Responsibilities
- Operate plastic injection molding machines and related manufacturing equipment
- Perform mold setup, inspections, and maintenance
- Inspect cores and molds for defects and report quality issues
- Use cranes or lifting equipment for mold changes when needed
- Troubleshoot molding equipment and resolve production issues
- Maintain production schedules and meet daily manufacturing goals
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Shipping teams
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of injection molding experience required
- Experience with plastic injection molding machines and mold maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience performing quality inspections on molded parts and molds
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
