Route Sales Delivery Driver
About This Opportunity
Seeking a dependable Route Sales Delivery Driver to deliver bread and roll products to customers throughout the Des Moines area. This is a local route position with employees returning home every night.
Bonus Opportunity
- $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 60 days
Assignment Details
Training Pay: $850.00/ week
Schedule: Early morning Start. Days Off Wednesday and Sunday
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay After Training
Once training is completed and the route is established:
- $367.74 weekly base salary
- 8% commission on sales over $2,000
Pre Employment Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Client Interview Required
Responsibilities
- Deliver bakery products along an established route
- Load and unload products
- Provide professional customer service
- Maintain accurate delivery and sales records
- Safely operate company delivery vehicle
- Complete local/city deliveries
- Work independently and manage daily route responsibilities
Requirements
- Must be 21
- Valid regular driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- DSD, sales, or retail experience preferred, but not required
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to routinely push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer and math skills
- Must pass drug screen and background check
