Responsibilities
Construction Trades Instructor – Manufacturing & Logistics: Teach students in Job Point’s Manufacturing & Logistics pathway following the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Foundation Level-Certified Logistics Associate (CDA) curriculum. Teach basic skills related to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and logistics competencies. Modify curriculum and materials as required to meet individual and program needs while maintaining teaching methodology percentages listed in the course catalog. Responsible for executing classroom plans and on-site training. Assist with all construction programs including HVAC, HMR and Carpentry.
Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing, logistics or warehouse operations.
- Experience in construction work.
- Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
- Ability to work enthusiastically with young people who have not completed high school.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class A Missouri Commercial driver’s license within 30 days of employment and possess an excellent driving record.
- Must have or be able to obtain certification in CPR, First Aid and Positive Supports within 60 days of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
