Experience with Deep Submergence System (DSS) Scope of Certification (SOC) programs, SUBSAFE, or equivalent Navy safety certification programs
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance (minimum); ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility is preferred
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to work on-site at NSWC PCD, Panama City, FL
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS for fleet support, SCA surveys, or depot activities

Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum five (5) years of quality assurance/quality control experience in a DoD manufacturing, fabrication, or depot maintenance environment
• Minimum two (2) years of direct experience performing in-process and final inspections on fabricated metallic assemblies (structural weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels, or similar)
Technical Skills
• Proficient with standard calibrated inspection instruments: calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, thread gauges, torque wrenches, and optical comparators
• Hands-on experience performing Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) with current qualification per NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, weld symbols, material specifications, and military/NAVSEA technical documentation
• Experience generating, compiling, and reviewing OQE packages for Government acceptance
• Knowledge of material control processes including receipt inspection, traceability, marking, and segregation
• Familiarity with non-conformance reporting, disposition processes, and corrective action systems
Standards and Regulations
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100D quality management system requirements
• Familiarity with NAVSEA fabrication and welding standards (NAVSEA S9074-AR-GIB-010/278, NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248)
• Familiarity with NAVSEA NDT requirements (NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271)
