PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

EPS Corporation is looking for a passionate and talented Proposal Coordinator to join our expanding proposal development team. Candidate will report to our Production Team Lead.

EPS is a fast-growing woman-owned small business providing Systems Engineering, Logistics and Fielding Solutions; IT, Software and Cyber Security Solutions; and Network and Communication Solutions that support the Department of Defense, civilian agencies, and commercial clients worldwide.  for federal, state, and civil government agencies.

The Proposal Coordinator delivers on the entire proposal life cycle process from pre-proposal preparation to development; writing/editing; production; and delivery. The primary objective is to consistently deliver an RFx response that is in compliance with instructions, and meets EPS’ stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead overall proposal process and manage the successful development of compliant, competitive, cogent, and compelling proposals through effective collaboration across teams that include internal staff, corporate partners, consultants, and supporting vendors
• Perform detailed analysis of RFx requirements
• Develop the proposal schedule, templates, compliance checklist, and Proposal Development Plan
• Establish and maintain the SharePoint collaboration site and proposal repository
• Prepare and lead efficient Proposal Kickoff meetings and status calls, ensuring activities adhere to the Proposal Development Plan
• Conducts Color Reviews and consolidate all documents for resolution
• Conduct compliance checks and provide related process guidance to proposal teams
• Coordinate and integrate proposal volumes, subfactors, and sections as they develop and maintain close liaison with authors/SME staff
• Prepare and coordinates all additional attachments needed for proposal submission such as Cover Letters, Reps & Certs, etc.
• Review and edit submissions from partners, ensuring their input meets specified requirements and expected level of quality
• Perform production activities and ensure timely submission of all RFx deliverables

• 2 years of proposal coordination experience on federal proposals
• Trained and experienced with the Shipley proposal management processes;  APMP Foundation certification preferred
• Experience with Federal and DoD procurement/proposal processes.
• Associate /Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or other related technical fields
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven experience reviewing, and editing proposals and associated content
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using SharePoint document management and workflows
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the corporate organization, partners, consultants, and other proposal participants
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage overlapping projects
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, proposal deadline-driven atmosphere.

• A "can-do" positive attitude
