Requirements & Responsibilities (The Multi-Role Commitment)
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and outstanding customer service while fostering positive interactions.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, following company policies and procedures.
- Possess basic DIY skills and familiarity with hardware and home improvement products.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential to cover shifting business needs, which may include working in multiple departments during a single shift.
- Be available for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts, with flexibility for short-notice schedule changes.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-task efficiently.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and remaining active for extended periods.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the store while handling merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Perform daily cleaning duties to company standards, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Safely operate store equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, key machines, cutting tools, and ladders.
