Production Technician I

You will receive hands-on training and the opportunity to shadow experienced team members while learning our processes, tools, and OEM platforms. Once you've built a strong foundation, you'll have the autonomy to troubleshoot, improve your skills, and make an impact every day.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitor resources including disk, memory, and CPU through in-depth stress testing
- Re-qualify and refurbish disk arrays across multiple OEMS
- Re-qualify and refurbish server and associated peripherals
- May perform research or collect information on specific technical hardware/software related issues to determine root cause, identify alternatives, and implement a solution. This may include participating in postmortem meetings with L3/R&D
- Work and participate in a team environment
- Assist production areas with various product lines (entry level/midrange storage products, network appliances).
- Assist the planning and procurement group with parts related queries.
- Recertify individual and defective parts and provide problem determination/ resolution when necessary
- Disassembly of tested systems into spare parts
- Tagging and bagging of tested spares
- After hours rotation for parts procurement may be involved
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or testing servers, storage systems, networking equipment, or similar enterprise hardware
- Associate degree, High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to tackle new technical problems and equipment
- Ability to be nimble and work in a fast-paced/changing environment
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Unix & Red Hat. A , Server, Storage & Network certifications, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, knowledge of CLI (Command Line Interface)
- Working knowledge of disk storage hardware and software products preferred
